Chart notes
KING MENDELSSOHN set the pace on a well measured lead, responded when called upon turning for home to quickly go clear and drew off as much best. JUSTICE IS SWEET stalked the leader from four wide to the quarter pole, made a non-threatening bid at the head of the stretch and ran-on willingly to hold the place. READY SET CAIRO tracked the leaders for a half mile, angled five wide turning for home and rallied mildly down the lane. INMATE was well placed just off the pacesetter racing along the inside, rallied on the turn tipping out three wide to loom at the quarter pole and flattened out in the lane. DECLARATION TIME broke slowly to give the field a couple lenghths away from the gate and failed to menace. SHANNONIA broke at the back of the field when unprepared at the break and trailed throughout unable to pose a threat.
