Chart notes
SWEET HONEY BEE was off alertly before settling back into a four wide position, gained through the turn to enter the stretch close up to the dueling leaders, determinedly picked off the remaining two on her inside lead just in time. FLEE opted to give chase just off the rail in the early stages, shifted out three wide to range up through the turn and contest the lead at the top of the stretch, dueled with FURYS CHARM until claiming a brief lead at the sixteenth before getting nailed in the final strides by a rallying opponent. FURYS CHARM moved up to put pressure on the early pace setter, took charge at the seven sixteenths marker, met a bid from FLEE entering the stretch, dueled with that rival until yielding in the final sixteenth, clear of the rest for the show award. SWEET SUMMER LOVE tracked the pace three wide in the early stages, settled off the pace through the turn, was asked at the quarter to make some improvements down the stretch. ZIPPY DO DA DAY was rated between runners, lacked a response, flattened out. BEST WORST IDEA broke a step slow, passed tired rivals. UPTOWN ART was fractious in the starting gate, rushed up along the inside to take charge shortly after the start, faced outer pressure from FURYS CHARM before surrendering command to that rival at the top of the turn, faded then on. BIG BOLT raced off the pace, never threatened.
