Chart notes
ESSENTIAL GIRL settled off the pace, was brushed out by WEST SEVENTEENTH in the first turn, continued off the pace three wide until being cued in the far turn, reeled in the remaining two down the lane along her left lead. SANTA LUZIA tracked the pace three wide, launched a bid rounding the far turn to claim a narrow lead over MY LAST DIME, edged clear of that foe late but was not able to hold off the eventual winner. MY LAST DIME stalked the early pace setter in the two path, commandeered the lead at the three eighths marker, met a bid from SANTA LUZIA at the top of the lane, fought with that rival until giving way in the final sixteenth. WEST SEVENTEENTH settled off the pace on the inside, lugged out into ESSNTIAL GIRL in the first turn, continued off the pace. ADONCIA showed good early speed, faced pressure from MY LAST DIME up the backstretch, gave way to that foe at the three eighths, weakened then on. CARIBBEAN CLARITY hopped at the start, moved up off the pace on the inside, retreated in the far turn.
