Chart notes
CALVIN'S RIDE broke alertly to set a well rated pace, responded when called upon turning for home to repel all challengers in mid-stretch and hold the late closers safe at the wire. PRINCE OF AYRSHIRE rated in hand to midway on the far turn, rallied five wide in upper stretch splitting rivals and was gaining in deep stretch in a good try. READY TO FLY reserved off the pace to the far turn, angled six wide turning for home and closed well with a late bid on the outside. EXTRASEXYBIGDADDEE tracked the leader from four wide to the quarter pole, rallied to threaten in mid-stretch and failed to sustain the bid finishing evenly late. DECLARED trailed most of the way passing tiring rivals late in the lane. ADIOS BUCCANEER was well placed in striking distance for three-quarters to no avail lacking a rally in the stretch. KARLWITHANARL prompted the pace to the quarter pole, failed to respond when called upon and tired in the final eighth.
