Chart notes
SURFIN' M stalked closest to the leader and from the two path, bid two wide around the far turn, gained command nearing the lane then drove clear. STANDARD DEDUCTION checked out of cramped quarters among foes early on, pursued from midpack along the inside, advanced two wide and between horses in upper stretch, dueled for place with an outer counterpart through the final furlong and prevailed. CAN'T STOP WILLIS tracked from the two path, advanced in the four path in upper stretch, sparred for place with an inner foe through the final furlong but missed. AL AMJAAD pursued from midpack in the three path, fanned five wide in upper stretch, hung on his left lead until the furlong grounds then stayed on with a mild kick and needed more for show. GENTLEMAN JIM raced off of the pace in the four to two path around the first turn and failed to factor. MOR CHEESE PLEASE set the pace along the inside, tugged clear around the first turn, met the eventual winner's challenge around the far turn, got headed passing the five sixteenths pole then weakened. DISAPPEAR broke a step slow, trailed along the inside then showed little.
