Chart notes
DOUBLE SALTY reserved early, rallied on the turn circling five wide, took control in mid-stretch and drew away. A LOTTA SHANCE was rated off the pace to the far turn in hand, rallied steadily to be along for the place. RUNNING BAYOU was in tight leaving the gate to be squeezed to the back of the field, remained near the rear turning for home, angled eight wide and closed well. WHOLELOTTADEAL pressed the pace vying for the lead to the quarter pole and weakened in the stretch. IMPERIAL BANDIT set the pace under steady pressure duel into upper stretch and tired in the final furlong. HE'S EXAGGERATING went evenly. SLOWDOWNANMOVEOVER was not a threat. SHOT GUN SHACK broke sharply, settled into a stalking position through the turn and gave way in the stretch.
