Chart notes
MANGUM pressed the pace from the onset, took control at the quarter pole, opened a clear lead in mid-stretch and held well in a determined drive. SOUNDS LIKE POWER reserved off the pace to midway on the bend, circled six wide turning for home and rallied well to be gaining late. CARPIS set the pace under constant pressure dueling to the head of the stretch and was outkicked while running on willingly. SAINT GABRIEL stalked the pacesetters from four wide through the turn to loom at the quarter pole and lacked a closing response for the drive. CHAD'S FLASHY WAYS went evenly without impact. CONEJO CHAPIN trailed most of the way never posing a threat. F T W SLAM showed brief speed to press early and steadily faded to the rear.
