Chart notes
SOCO KID was sent clear, set the pace inside on or just off the rail, widened in the stretch under steady handling. GALANTINI moved forward early up the backstretch inside, chased inside foes on the turn close to the leader, ran on and go the nod for place. GUN IT AND RUN IT chased from outside early then between runners three wide late on the turn, ran on and missed second in a blanket photo. GOVERNING PARTY settled off the pace, advanced outside into and on the turn racing four wide, floated wider into upper stretch, ran on but was outfinished for the placings. DON'T TELL KIM got away slowly, raced well back devoid of speed, swung wide into upper stretch and passed a tiring rival. GO JACK GO chased the winner early, dropped back between runners, came out for the stretch run, made no late bid.
