Chart notes
STEAL POETIC had bumps both sides at the start, settled outside at the rear, went in the three to four path through the turn starting to advance, came into upper stretch five wide, swept past and cleared. EPIC PRANKSTER was sent to the lead inside, dictated terms from just off the rail, faced increasing pressure on the turn, fought on for place between runners but was no match for the winner. TRAJECT exchanged light contact at the start, settled last bu tone along the inside, advanced on the turn racing in behind runners seeking room past the quarter pole, shifted in a bit at the top of the stretch, kept on inside but missed the place. CHASING NUMBERS bumped with a rival at the start, stalked from outside up close, went four wide on the turn making a mild bid at the five-sixteenths, was outkicked for the minor placings. CLASSY EMILY pressed the pace from outside then dropped back between runners on the turn, faded.
