Chart notes
ON RAMP tracked the pace inside, made a three wide move mid-way around the far turn, challenged HIGHLIGHT SHOW for the lead, put a head in front at the eighth pole and edged away. HIGHLIGHT SHOW set a pressured pace around the first turn, vied up the backstretch, turned back bids then took on the challenge from ON RAMP near the quarter pole, fought gamely into the lane, got collared a furlong out, ran on and finished clearly second best. BELLA'S ATREIDES settled while never too far off the early pace, launched a three to four wide bid near the quarter pole, sustained a steady bid into the lane and finished well clear for show. AVERY COUNTY dueled inside around the first turn and up the backstretch then came up empty around the far turn. SUGAR TEA was forwardly placed around the first turn, continued in striking distance up the backstretch, came up empty mid-way around the far turn and dropped back.
