Chart notes
COCONUT DREAMS assumed early command, met a brief bid from BLUEBIRD CAFE entering the turn and shook that one off rather quickly, floated out a bit in the stretch but held sway. CHEEKWOOD was off a beat slow, moved up to track the pace along the inside, floated out in the stretch, held at bay by the winner. PRINCESS FAVE pressed the pace for the first furlong before backing off slightly, chased then on. HOT BETTY hopped at the start, was roused midway through the turn, improved position. BLUEBIRD CAFE advanced up the backstretch to contest the lead going into the turn briefly, retreated down the lane. MAMARANDO settled off the pace, trailed midway through the turn.
