Chart notes
CAN'TDEALWITHIT was allowed to settle after the start, ranged up along the outside of the turn and brushed with GUIDE MY STEPS around the five sixteenths, contested the lead at the top of the stretch, forged ahead in the final furlong. GUIDE MY STEPS tracked the pace three wide, brushed with CAN'TDEALWITHIT at the five sixteenths, lacked a closing bid. PETITE ANGE rushed up to split foes after the first furlong for command, met an outside bid from CAN'TDEALWITHIT at the top of the stretch, gave way at the eighth pole. BAKBURNER hopped at the start, passed tired foes. BOB'S VAI broke alertly, gave way to PETITE ANGE shortly after the start, chased that foe through the turn, tired in the stretch. BOURBON TIGER was forwardly placed between runners in the early stages, was steadied at the nine sixteenths marker, continued to chase between foes in the turn, faded in the stretch. STEWARDS INQUIRY AND JOCKEY'S OBJECTION BY GUIDE MY STEPS CLAIMING FOUL ON CAN'TDEALWITHIT IN THE TURN RESULTED IN NO CHANGE.
