Chart notes
RAMESSES reserved off the pace for the first half mile, made a steady advance circling four wide to engage the leader in upper stretch, dueled through the lane and drew clear late. TRAVELLER unhurried in the early going to race near the back through the first turn, commenced an early bid entering the far turn to take command at the quarter pole, vied in the stretch with the winner and finished willingly as second best. IF I WERE YOU prompted the pace for a half, settled off the leaders into the turn losing positon as the top pair circled up to the leaders and finished with a mild bid to be along for the show. LANGSTAFF ROAD trailed to midway on the far turn and passed tiring rivals coming home. SPEIGHT THE SNOW set the pace under pressure through the first turn, drew clear down the backstretch and tired midway on the final bend. CANDY STREET pressed the pace from between rivals for five-eighths and faltered dropping to the back.
