Chart notes
SQUAD GOALS unhurried to race at the back of the field down the backstretch, closed the gap on the turn while saving ground, cut the corner turning for home and rallied strongly up the inside to be clear late. DOUBTING THOMAS reserved off the pace to race with the winner at the rear, likewise closed ground on the turn from three wide, lacked the burst the victor had in upper stretch and followed him along the inside with a late gain for the place. LIVE STREAM rated in mid-pack down the backside, gained on the turn to be prominent turning for home. loomed in mid-stretch from between rivals and was outfinished in the final eighth. GRUNGE stalked the pace for half to be well placed at the head of the stretch, rallied to engage the leaders midway down the lane and was outkicked in late going. SMALL TOWN tracked the leaders to the quarter pole, rallied as part of the cavalry charge in upper stretch to be prominent at the eighth pole and hung late. CARNIVAL ROCK showed early speed to be in the second flight, dropped back losing position on the turn and kept-on in the lane passing tiring rivals. KING OF SHEBA pressed the pace down the backside, continued to duel through the turn taking the lead at the quarter pole and gave way in the stretch. MR. HOOLIGAN raced wide down the backstretch, was caught wide into the far turn to be in the seven path and failed to menace. ZUN DAY sped to the lead dueleing through rapid fractions for a half mile and faltered. THE RIDER OF MR. HOOLIGAN CLAIME FOUL FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE THREE-EIGHTHS POLE BY SMALL TOWN, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE.
