Chart notes

FADETHENOISE set the pace early in a four way scrum for the lead, continued to set a pressured pace through the turn, repelled his opponent pressing on the lead turning for home, opened a clear lead in mid-stretch and held the closing runner-up safe late. VENIK unhurried early to be at the back of the pack, rallied along the inside closing the gap on the turn, angled out five wide for the drive and mounted a good belated bid to be up for the place. GOTTS GOT IT raced with the early leaders between rivals, was in tight quarters having to steady briefly nearing the half mile pole, came again on the bend to be prominent in upper stretch and finished evenly late unable to sustain the rally in a good try. TOP RECRUIT pressed the pace from five wide down the backside, made a bid for the lead turning for home, fought with the winner in the lane and weakened late. TIVERTON (GB) was not a factor. OUTHUSTLE flashed early speed to be between horses in a four-way battle for the early lead, was in close quarters from between down the backside, chased the leaders through the turn and faded in the lane.
