Chart notes
HOUSEBUILDER stalked the pacesetters through the turn, rallied leaving the quarter pole with a steady gain, assumed command just inside the eighth pole and held the closer safe. GOOD ON YA reserved off the pace in mid-pack to midway on the turn, edged closer to the top of the lane, responded willingly when called upon angling four wide in upper stretch and was gaining late. CHIPS LEGACY set the pace under constant pressure, shook off the presser turning for home only to be immediately engaged by the winner and tired late in the drive. BEACH HOLIDAY raced at the head of the trailing trio to be mid-pack four wide down the backstretch and rallied mildly coming home without impact. BAHAMA CHANNEL hesitated at the start giving the field several lengths and chased throughout passing weaker. HAPPY INSTEAD pressed the pace for a half and gave way at the quarter pole. DUEL FUEL was not a factor.
