Chart notes
NOTHING BETTER set the pace on the inside and was clear and then drifted out nearing the furlong marker and then straightened out inside the furlong grounds and maintained a safe margin to the wire to prove best under a drive. SPIRITED SOL was well placed on the inside, made a two to three wide bid leaving the turn but needed more late and had to settle for being clearly second best. FIERCE AND STRONG stalked the early pace and then checked in between rivals by the three eighths marker and moved out to be four wide into the lane and ran on willingly to best the rest. HEAVEN STREET prompted the winner three wide and then was ridden along on the turn and came up empty in the lane. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
