THE BEAST MASTER was fractious in the gate, pressed the pace on the outside, made a three wide bid in hand to be clear by the quarter pole, drew off leaving the turn and proved much the best under a hand ride and was geared down late. SERENDIPITOUS BID was off slowly, reserved in the rear and advanced two to four wide on the turn, came five wide into the lane and ran on well to be clearly second best. BLACK JACK SHELLAC chased the pace and came three wide into the lane but weakened while besting the rest. GRINDA set a pressured pace in the two path, dropped to the rail on the turn and came up empty in the lane. CHUCKY OUR LAW tracked the early pace on the inside and fell back on the turn, swung out four wide leaving the turn and weakened. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
