Chart notes
SHINIGAMI saved ground around the first turn, led the way up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far bend and held clear to the finish. I'M SAM brushed with the horse to his outside at the start, raced in the two path early, settled in the middle of the pack on the outside for the run up the backstretch, swung out to the four path to began a bid nearing the quarter pole and gained ground late. OPERATNTHUNDERBOLT saved ground around the first turn, continued up the backstretch in the middle of the pack on the inside, came around the far turn in the two path, began a bid entering the stretch and was outkicked late. MASAYOSHI brushed with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, trailed the field while saving ground around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and made up some ground in the lane while never truly threatening. RAFAROO saved ground early, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the three path and showed no kick. JACK KEROUAC raced in the two path around the first bend, chased the leader up the backstretch, came around the far turn still in the two path and weakened in the stretch.
