Chart notes
A V FROM THE LOGO tracked the top pair around the turn, launched a three wide bid leaving the furlong marker and edged away late. SMART EFFORT headed in pursuit upon entering the turn, engaged JUST TOO for the lead at the head of the lane, vied outside of rival into the final furlong, briefly held the lead then got overtaken late. JUST TOO took over the lead shortly after the start, held clear around the turn, took on the challenge from SMART EFFORT at the head of the lane, fought back from the inside past the sixteenth pole then yielded late. MIDNIGHT BURST held a slim lead in opening stages then got overtaken entering the turn, ran on near the inside down the lane and evened out in the final furlong. PRAIRIE AVENUE got brushed at the start, raced off the early pace, coaxed three wide around the turn and failed to respond. PIONEER POWER chased along the inside and never threatened.
