Chart notes
SWEET VIOLA prompted the pace under a snug hold up the backstretch, let out a notch with three furlongs left to run, quickly cleared the lead, hustled along two wide at the head of the lane, responded willingly and pulled away. MAXIMUM TO EXCEL tracked the top pair in the opening quarter, hustled along three then two wide around the turn, sustained a steady bid down the lane and finished clearly second best. BOTITA was not too far back in early stages, chased inside around the turn, tipped two wide for the drive and ran along for a share. STARLIT SOFI failed to move into contentionm. CONNIPTION set a pressured pace up the backstretch, got overtaken nearing the mid-way point around the turn and retreated.
