Chart notes
BIG REFLECTIONS came out at the start, pressed from outside, fought on even terms around the second bend, emerged clear in upper stretch and held safely over the runner-up through the final furlong. CHE (IRE) brushed leaving the gate, tracked along the inside into the first turn then moved to the two path, drew closer in the middle stages, bid three deep with three furlongs remaining, lost touch with BIG REFLECTIONS in upper stretch, chased after the winner determinedly through the final furlong but had to settle for second best. NASH FOR CASH got bumped and crowded at the start, sat off the pace in the two path, closed in on the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn, tipped out in upper stretch and churned on for third. FRANCESCONI showed the way from inside under pressure, headed into the far turn, dueled around the bend, yielded to outer pair in upper stretch and faded. BUCKY'S BOY broke in and bumped NASH FOR CASH, chased three wide around the clubhouse turn, moved into range on the backstretch, pursued four deep on the far turn, tucked to the three path leaving that bend and tired.
