TAX CODE saved ground setting the pace, responded when challenged by SI THAT TIGER nearing the three-eighths pole, dueled with that one into the stretch and edged clear late. SI THAT TIGER prompted TAX CODE from along the outside, offered a bid nearing the three-eighths pole, dueled with that one into the stretch but was unable to match strides with him late. SLEW'S TIZ WHIZ was prominently placed racing three-wide, offered a bid entering the stretch and then went evenly late. BALADI was forwardly placed racing two-wide, angled in entering the stretch and finished well in a steady effort.
