Chart notes
EASTSIDE COOL light bump start, forwardly placed well off the inside out of the chute while between horses, prompted the winner from the three path into the turn, challenged into the lane, long, heated stretch duel, proved narrowly best on the outside in a game effort. DAN D'ORO broke out to lightly bump the winner, moved up take command out of the chute, continued to set the pace in the two path into and through the turn, responded when the winner came calling for the drive, extended stretch battle inside the winner, proved stubborn to the end. KINGSCOTE moved closer late backstretch along the inside, moved out a bit to head up the second flight turning into the stretch, had little for the top two to wire, narrowly gained the nod for the show. TRESILLIAN back off the pace while widest up the backstretch, four wide into the turn, three wide exiting, long drive for the show spot, missed. PATH TO SUCCESS lacked a closing response while racing off the inside. Z Z'S PRINCE void of speed, angled out to be four wide entering the stretch, failed to muster a rally.
