Chart notes
STAY FROSTY set the pace on a clear, well rated lead, responded when called upon in upper stretch, battled the runner-up for the final eight, exchanged lead in deep stretch and prevailed in a determined drive. THUNDERING HEART was well placed tracking from the inside, saved ground cutting the corner turning for home, rallied up the fence to duel on the lead in the final sixteenth and was denied at the line in good effort. GLOBAL LEGEND stalked the pace from four wide and lacked a closing kick in the lane finishing evenly. FORT BLING was reserved off the early pace, called upon early on the turn and put in a mild, grinding bid five wide down the lane. GOLDEN SURVIVOR broke in a tangle giving the field several lengths, rushed up to the rear of the pack down the backside, continued to advance splitting rivals in upper stretch and flattened out in the drive having too much to overcome. HEY BATTER BATTER was never a threat. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
