Chart notes
FLYIN PRIVATE broke on top, relinquished the advantage to the early leader soon after, closest to that one into the turn, took over quickly midway on the hook, clear into the lane, drew off under a steady hand ride to win ridden out. AMERICAN TACT stumbled badly at the start to be away slowly, moved out, advanced to battle in the second flight six wide into the turn, was in the five path exiting through the bend, drifted in a bit nearing midstretch but battled on to earn the place while no match for the winner. EXPRESS LINE also away slowly, moved out, raced five wide and inside the winner when with the second group early in the bend, came four wide for the drive, not enough for the second spot while along for the show. MIRACLE ON CENTRAL moved up along the inside out of the chute to set the early pace, clear before a quarter, offered brief resistance to the winner midway on the turn then could not keep up, chased that same rival through upper stretch then weakened the final furlong to lose a couple of positions. BILLY'S GOT ISSUES in the second group well out in the strip, four wide and between horses into the bend, three wide exiting, weakened in the drive. SPIELMAN in the main body while three wide up the backstretch, between horses and in the two path turning for home, also had little left for the run to he wire. MY HIGHMOON void of early foot for a half, picked off a couple of tiring rivals after the issue had been decided. HWY TWENTY RIDE within striking distance in mid pack along the rail for a half, gave way in the drive. ABOUT THE BUSINESS remained back in failing to menace. LITTLE JONY in mid pack and between horses up the backstretch, fell back in some traffic into the turn, continued to fade through the lane. ARNIE fell back after the start and was always outrun.
