Chart notes
INAWINNER broke well, showed the way out of the chute, continued to set the pace off the inside into the turn, headed midway on the bend while allowing SHOW RESPECT inside, responded and battled back to regain the advantage when straightened for home, came in soon after as that rival was drifting out then kicked well clear in the run to the wire. IT'S BEEN REAL broke in to tighten up a couple of inner rivals, settled off the pace, moved closer turn, continued that mild advance to be up late for the second spot, not a threat to the winner. SHOW RESPECT forwardly placed toward the inside, advanced and challenged along the inside turn, gained the advantage, stalled entering the stretch then came out under some left handed pressure, lost the advantage and continued to gradually weaken to be caught for the second spot late. MY ROYAL PRINCESS in tight at the start, raced back, staged a mild rally to improve position, no real threat. CAUSE WE CAN also put in tight at he break, raced back and failed to seriously menace. MARLIN DARLIN forwardly placed while out in the strip, idled through the turn in the three path as the two leaders battled, began to gradually weakened and continued fade down the lane. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY AND AND A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER OF SHOW RESPECT AGAINST THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH, THE RESULT WAS ALLOWED TO STAND.
