Chart notes
WICKED AS HAGGART away in good order but behind the runner up, prompted that one through the first turn and up the backstretch, went after that same rival midway on the final turn, dueled into the stretch, came in slight when straightened for home the kicked well clear the final furlong. A MILLION MOONS broke alertly to show the way past the wire the first time, continued to set the pace the middle half, responded when the winner came alongside in the second turn, raced on equal terms with that one into the lane, could not keep up late, comfortably saved the runner up spot. FREDDIE BY A NOSE in the second group while saving ground, remained within striking distance into the far turn, crept a bit closer late in that bend and proved determined late to hold the show. BENOIT in the second flight three wide and between horses early, shuffled back a bit into the first turn in traffic, moved up backstretch to race in the second flight, moved a bit closer still in the four path turning for home, went flat past the furlong marker and continued evenly to the finish while lugging in a bit with a sixteenth left. THE CAJUN GATSBY forwardly placed while three wide into and through the first turn, maintained that position the middle half mile, weakened through the lane to lose a couple of positions. CAJUN MITOLE settled in mid pack while between foes, idled in some minor traffic second turn then came up empty in the drive when called on. CHAD'S FLASHY WAYS four wide into the first turn, continued well wide onto the backstretch, trailed in in failing to mount a bid.
