Chart notes
STORMY LOU close up from the start, pressed the leader into the turn, took over from the outside late in the bend, drew off strongly through the lane as much the best. FAYE L. back off the pace and the inside, moved up four wide into contention through the turn, proved no match for the winner in chasing that one home, clearly second best. CALL FERN fell back after the start, raced in hand when lagging through the turn, moved out a bit for the drive and made a late run through traffic. DAZE DAY off a step slow, advanced to mid pack while saving ground, continued inside through the stretch also better her position. CUSTOM VALUE off the pace while racing outside, four to five wide turn, displayed a mild amount of late interest down the middle of the strip. AWESUGARSUGAR within striking distance for a half while racing three wide, retreated through the stretch. ROYAL COAST in mid pack and off the inside, in some traffic late backstretch, three wide through the turn, failed to muster a response when clear for the drive. CLEARLY A DREAM EM took control after the start, showed the way for almost four furlongs then gave way when headed by the winner with a quarter to run. CANDY GIRL MISS raced briefly in a forward position outside the winner, began a steady retreat after a quarter. STORM SURGE broke well from the outside, shortened stride before a quarter, was eased and walked off.
