Chart notes
NEWYEARSBLOCKPARTY dueled on the lead from the three path for a half mile, shook off the presser turning for home to kick clear in upper stretch and held on while tiring late in the lane. TWO STEPPIN KLUKI hustled early to keep up, settled to track the leaders to the top of the lane and found his best stride late to be gaining in deep stretch. CAPT. CANDY stalked the pace from the inside, briefly drew even with the leading duo, failed to gain on the winner through the lane and finished willingly to hold the show. POWERFUL unhurried to be the trailer and showed belated interest with closing kick through the stretch. GUAIO raced mid-pack on the outside five wide and failed to mount a closing bid going evenly. REVEREND MOON pressed the pace from four wide dueling on the lead for a half and gave way midway down the lane. MEGAN'S HONOR was not a factor.
