Chart notes
MISS FULTON GAL unhurried to be at the back of the main body of the field to the far turn, made a steady advance to close the gap on the far turn, rallied splitting rivals at the top of the lane five wide, engaged the leader at the eight pole and drew clear while drifting in late. SOLOIST dueled on the lead for five-eighths, kicked away from the tiring presser on the final bend, drifted out turning for home on a clear lead, battled in mid-stretch, tired inside the final sixteenth, took up late when winner drifted in although already beaten and was clearly second best. MAKING DAISYS stalked the dueling pacesetter to the far turn, rallied to threaten from five wide at the quarter pole and flattened out in upper stretch unable to sustain the bid. WAR BELLE vied for the lead pressing pressing the three-eighths pole and gave way on the bend coming up empty. TIDEOFTIME was always outrun. THE RIDER OF SOLOIST CLAIMED FOUL FOR INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH AGAINST THE WINNER, UPON REVIEW THE STEWARDS MADE NO CHANGE.
