Chart notes
IM SINGLED UP ceded the lead while never far back, moved to challenge for the lead with three furlongs to run, put GOOD BRIGHT FLAMES away in mid-stretch, and drove clear to the wire under strong handling. GOOD BRIGHT FLAMES pushed hard from the break to get to the front, then was left alone to dictate a moderate pace for the first half-mile, kicked on when under threat approaching the three-furlong pole, battled gamely into the stretch, weakened in the final furlong but held gamely to save the place. RUSTY'S SUNRISE tracked two-wide in the second flight, finished with some interest, but had to settle for third, well clear of the next horse. MOLTO VINO settled between horses in the trailing group, then made a mild gain under a hard ride in the stretch. AGAMI raced three to four wide near the rear throughout and was never a threat. TALKSALOT saved all the ground but lacked a finish. CRAFTROOM raced close up along the rail in the tracking pair, then came up empty in the stretch.
