Chart notes
LOLO'S GIRL forced in, reserved near the rear to the far turn, started a run from before the quarter pole, came five-wide into the stretch, and rallied past a host of rivals to get up for the win. SPARE ME stumbled leaving the gate, settled near the rear, launched a bid on the far turn, came out four-wide into the stretch, closed willingly under strong handling but was outkicked in the final yards by the winner. TASTE OF FREEDOM showed good speed from the break to lead the way into the first turn, dueled onto the backstretch with CHARGING OVATIME, traded blows with that rival to the half, then ceded the lead to that one heading into the far turn, re-took the lead in upper stretch despite racing on the wrong lead, but was outfinished by the top two in the final yards. LOOK AT ME NAH got caught four-wide on the first turn, settled in the middle of the main pack down the backstretch, responded when asked to go on the far turn, loomed with a big chance in the homestretch but was outkicked in the late stages. CHARGING OVATIME dueled inside a rival through the first half, went clear of the rest early on the turn, then gave way readily in upper stretch when put to challenge. ESKENFORAVE AND AK was the outside horse in the tracking pair, responded when asked to go on near the three-furlong pole, loomed a threat at the head of the stretch, but flattened out in the late stages. OCEAN'S APPEAL dropped far back early, then made a belated rally to improve slightly. COWGIRL COOL got squeezed after the start, raced close up along the inside to the far turn, then tired in the stretch. SELL THE BUFFALO ducked in sharply at the start, steadied, then was very slow into stride, never really got going, and was distanced. ABOVE THE WORLD reared as the gates, tossed the rider out of the back of the starting gate, and was never released by the starter; walked off.
