Chart notes
FUMANO'S FIRE stumbled slightly leaving the gate, sprinted clear then took pressure from REPO to the outside, cleared that rival early on the turn, roused at the top of the lane, stayed clear under left then right handed urging into deep stretch and held safely late. REPO raced up close outside FUMANO'S FIRE, chased two wide on the turn, remained closest in pursuit into the final furlong, dug in the late and was gaining on the winner to the wire but ran out of ground. FUMO GRIGIO rubbed the gate leaving, chased from off the rail, navigated the turn in the three path, tipped out turning for home, kept trying down the lane and earned the show honors. BABY T stalked from inside, coaxed along around the bend, tipped out into the stretch and weakened in the drive. BO DIDDLEY chased widest in the early going, angled into the three path entering the turn, moved into the two path quickly around the bend and failed to menace. CITY OF FORZA chased from well off the rail then angled in for the turn, chased off the rail into the lane and never responded to urging. IMELDA IS MY LIGHT hit gate and came away slow, moved forward outside rivals, went four wide into the turn, drifted out at the seven-sixteenths pole and weakened in the drive.
