Chart notes
TOUGH TOMMY tracked the top trio in the opening quarter, was ridden along four wide past the quarter pole, sustained an outside bid into the lane, shifted inward while taking closer order, got a head up at the sixteenth pole, remained confidently handled and finished going away. FLAT SPROUT vied inside of SAILORMAN up the backstretch and around the turn, shook free in upper stretch then got overtaken at the sixteenth pole. SAILORMAN vied outside of FLAT SPROUT up the backstretch and around the turn, could not match strides past upper stretch but kept along for show. NO FREE KISSES settled off the early pace, hustled along two wide into upper stretch and ran on for a minor share. ADDED TIME was a step slow away from the gate then briefly slow into stride, angled to the inside and hustled along into into the turn, kept under a ride along the rail into stretch and failed to threaten. GALVANIZER tracked the embattled top pair up the backstretch, engaged rivals for the lead at the five sixteenths pole, failed to keep pace late on the turn and gave way.
