Chart notes

HAPPY STRIKE was allowed to settle around the first turn, tracked in range under a snug hold in the early backstretch, let out a notch and engaged the top pair with three furlongs left to run, vied outside of CONQUERING CAT around the turn and into the stretch run, shook free in the final furlong and held firm. CONQUERING CAT pressed the early pace, vied for the lead late on the backstretch, took on the challenge from HAPPY STRIKE with three furlongs left to run, fought back along the inside into the final furlong but failed to match strides late. ZATARA stalked the pace along the inside, angled out a path near the quarter pole, was set down two wide for the drive and just lasted for show. CYBERTOWN settled through early stages, was ridden three wide around the far turn, came under right handed pressure three wide at the head of the lane, ran on with response and just missed show. BRAHMS IMAGE set a pressured pace, vied late on the backstretch and into the turn, could not match strides past the five sixteenths pole and steadily retreated. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate times.
