Chart notes
MY MAYBELENNE tracked in close range up the backstretch, engaged the top pair for the lead at the quarter pole, vied outside of NEUTRALIZE into stretch run, dug in under firm handling and edged away. NEUTRALIZE was forwardly placed in the opening quarter, vied around the turn, continued to battle inside of MY MAYBELENNE past the sixteenth pole then yielded late. LADY RILEY vied inside up the backstretch then edged back into tracking position nearing the turn, launched a two wide rebid at the head of the lane, ran on with response then took in the inside path and finished clear over the rest. NIGHT BIRDIE raced off the pace, swung two wide into upper stretch and never threatened. MY JULIA dueled up the backstretch and around the turn then tired in the drive. CHAINSAW CITY failed to move into contention.
