Chart notes
VIA DELLA SPIGA set the pace through dawdling fractions to the far turn, responded when challenged dueling with the runner up from the quarter pole to deep stretch, dug-in late to repel that one and shook clear. HALON stalked the pace from four wide to the final bend, rallied on the turn to engage the pacesetter, vied through the stretch on the lead and was turned away late finishing well as second best. MAKOA prompted the pace from three wide to midway on the far turn, was no match for the top pair and ran-on through the lane as best of the rest. RACHMAN chased the leaders for five-eighths to be well placed into the turn and failed to mount a closing response fading from contention. KEEN SURGE was not a factor.
