Chart notes
DEBATE moved up soon after the break and prompted the pace three wide outside BANGKOK BOB, saw that one get away a bit leaving the far turn, stayed on and chased three deep past the five sixteenths, came back on with a bid four wide outside runners into the stretch, kept on grinding under pressure and just got up. BANGKOK BOB broke on top despite a stumbled, went clear early and set a rated pace in the two path, spurted away from foes when coaxed along past the three and a half furlong pole, dug in when confronted by a pair of outer rivals entering the lane, clung to the advanatge under left handed asking past the furlong grounds, emerged in a nose to nose battle inside the winner in deep stretch, battled valiantly but got the bad end of the bob. DIXIE PREACH rated close up, edged up between runners near the half, chased on past the five sixteenths, bid three wide between foes in upper stretch, dueled past mid stretch, steadied when in a bit close near the sixteenth pole and kept on with effort. ROB THE RICH hopped at the break, rushed up soon after and stalked from the inside, chased the embattled trio while saving ground past the three sixteenths, failed to kick on past the sixteenth pole and faded. BIRRAVINO BLVD , off the rail, faltered nearing the lane.
