Chart notes
HEAVY POUR broke a step slow to have to hustle to the lead early, took command entering the main track from the chute, set a well measured pace on a short lead under constant pressure to the top of the lane, dug-in gamely through the stretch to repel all challengers and prevailed in a determined drive. DOWAGIAC CHIEF reserved off the pace racing between rivals in just behind the leaders into the turn, lost position on the bend waiting for racing room, angled to the inside turning for home and finished with a good rally along the fence to gain the place. LIVE STREAM stalked the pace from the rail tucked in behind the leader, tipped out three wide turning for home when called upon, threatened in mid-stretch in an all-out drive and was turned away by the winner having to settle for a minor award. CERTAIN slow early to be the trailer, rallied circling five wide and closed the gap with a late bid. ALEMAN pressed the pace from three wide to midway on the turn and weakened dropping to the rear of the field.
