Chart notes
WHITE BULLET away well, made the early lead under some pressure from ZAMPINO, left that rival behind in upper stretch, then drew clear in the final furlong. FLAWLESS BEAST tracked two-wide in the second flight, stayed on well late to claim second, and was well clear of the next finisher. ZAMPINO pressed the pace two-wide then went flat in the stretch. PERICLES missed the break and was void of early speed, dropped far back early, then ran on some in the stretch to outfinish one rival. KAMA CAN ducked out at the start, then was the inside horse in the tracking pair, weakened midway through the turn, and had nothing to offer in the late stages.
