Chart notes
SPIRITED SOL stalked the pace from the inside through the turn to be tucked in just behind the pacesetters, hole opened when the leader drifted severely out turning for home, angled into the breach in a well handled ride, quickly surged to the front on the inside and pulled away in the final eighth a convincing winner. VICTORY ACHIEVED pressed the pace from two wide on the turn, rallied to engage the leader at the quarter pole, was carried out to the seven path by the tiring pacesetter, closed willingly from the outside and was outfinished inside the final eighth. HORSEPOWER tracked the leaders from the inside early, tipped out rallying between rivals on the turn, was fanned eight wide in upper stretch and put in a grinding bid on the far outside through the lane. EAMONN slow early to be the distant trailer, began to close the large gap on the turn and closed well in the lane through traffic with a belated bid. SURLY FURIOUS reserved off the pace along the inside at the back of the main body of the field, rallied cutting the corner to be prominent in upper stretch and flattened out late. NOBALS was reserved in hand racing four wide into the turn, closed the gap on the bend to be in striking distance and failed to respond turning for home. JEAN VALJEAN set a pressured pace to the quarter pole, drifted six wide turning for home while tiring and dropped to the rear of the field.
