Chart notes
CAPRICORN BELLE , a forward factor outside horses down the backstretch, advanced three wide on the turn, secured command in upper stretch, responded to encouragement and drew clear. MOLLY THE CAT bore in leaving the starting gate, sprinted to the early lead, set the pace near the inner rail and was out finished by the winner. MOMENTOUS AFFAIR , forced in leaving the starting gate, rushed up four deep leaving the turn to reach contention then faded. DIAMOND KANE remained along the inner rail throughout and weakened the final furlong. MIO COURE chased the early pace from the inner rail, failed to keep up leaving the turn, swung four wide in upper stretch and gave way. FALSE WITNESS checked in close quarters entering the turn, drifted very wide leaving the bend. HOPING FOR A WINK broke slowly, was outrun and swung wide leaving the turn.
