Chart notes
EYE WITNESS stalked four wide, loomed a danger while inching closer in hand around the turn, offered a bold challenge while tucking to the three path at the quarter pole and drove clear. LUCKY SHOT prompted along the inside, vied briefly sustaining position inside of a the leaders at the three furlong pole, but chased turning for home, altered two wide while no match for the leader in midstretch and stayed on. MARTINI BLU prompted from the three path, vied three wide into the turn, led while tucking to the two path at the five sixteenths pole, but got headed by an outer bidder entering the lane and yielded. BALADINE led in the two path, vied between horses at the three furlong pole then faded turning for home. FURIOUS ANGER saved ground at the rear but to no avail. PENROD lacked speed in the two path into the turn and made little impact.
