Chart notes
ECHO DOWN was three-deep in the four-way scramble for the early lead, backed out going into the turn, then came back to bid four-wide into the stretch, drifted out another two paths but finished best of all/. STORM SNIPER disputed the pace between rivals, lost a bit of ground late on the turn, but came back on under steady urging, kept to task late, and held on for the place. PASKETEE was three wide in the early pace battle, came into the stretch with a very narrow lead but was outfinished in the last furlong. MUD ON MY BOOTS contested the pace from the rail, had every chance in the stretch, but weakened a bit in the final yards. SAMURAI'S GRANDSON lacked early speed, came out to the four-path in the stretch and was mildly gaining. GRAZEN BOY raced four-wide throughout and was outrun.
