Chart notes
MOONIE PIE steadied slightly at the start when the outside foe came over, still got a good forward position behind the pace, was content to stalk to the far turn, then angled out three-wide for the stretch run, responded when set down in upper stretch, collared the leader and drew clear in the late stages. VIV'S WILD ACES showed good speed from the break, won the race into the first turn, led the way with DIVA BEACH keeping close attendance to the outside down the backstretch, left that rival behind at the quarter pole, and had a clear lead into the stretch, but weakened a bit from the early efforts and could not hold back the winner and just barely saved second. LOLA AND ROSE settled along the rail, raced in the back half of the field through the early stages, moved up to be in range of the frontrunners on the far turn, had a clear inside path in the stretch, but could not muster a late kick but managed to gain the minor award. BECKY'SGOTTAHAVEIT broke well from the outside post, but got caught four to five wide into the first turn, backed off the pace, then got over to the rail when clear, saved ground to the stretch, then came out in the three-path for a clear run but lacked a rally. DIVA BEACH stalked the early pace two-wide, then could not keep up in the stretch. GROUND CONTROL was taken back on the first turn to avoid going wide, advanced from last on the run up the backstretch, launched a bid from the three-furlong pole, came four-wide into the lane, but could not sustain the run and faltered in mid-stretch. BLESSED ASSURANCE raced in mid-pack to the far turn, dropped back to last and was uninvoled from that point, eased to the finish line, and walked off.
