SHELZAWA (FR) was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, raced in the three path on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, traveled around the far turn in the four then five path while asked, rallied outside into upper stretch, closed well to make a bid at the furlong marker, gained the lead outside the sixteenth-pole and proved best under good handling. NONCONSECUTIVETRMS went around the first turn in the three path, settled off the pace, moved closer in the four path on the far turn, rallied to the lead in upper stretch, lost the advantage to the winner outside the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished while able to get the place. FANGO CREEK was rated towards the front on the inside, saved ground through the far turn, was asked at the top of the stretch, came a bit off the rail before dropping back to the inside around the three-sixteenths pole, squeezed through inside of the pacesetter outside the furlong marker and finished willingly for the show. SECRETLY DELIGHTED settled on the inside, was roused late on the far turn, chased under a drive into the final furlong, moved out outside the sixteenth-pole and improved for the last spot in the superfecta. HOME WRECKER was reserved under tight restraint in the two path, was asked some near the five-sixteenths pole, raced just off heels into the stretch then was put to a drive, moved out around the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick. RIVER EMPRESS dropped back early, traveled around the first turn in the two path, was reserved off the pace, saved ground while roused on the far turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and lacked the needed response. MADELINE'S AGENDA established a forward position, rounded the first turn in the two path, stalked the pace on the outside, made a bid near the nine-sixteenths pole, vied in three then two path under urging on the far turn and weakened. SAINT TROPEZ went to the front, showed the way on the inside, was asked in the two path into the stretch, lost the lead to the runner-up at the three-sixteenths pole and gave way. ROMALA was taken under restraint early, became very rank under a tight hold in the two path on the first turn, tossed her head while still rank at the five-eighths pole, went around the far tur in the two path while let out, swung well out into upper stretch and failed to threaten. BOURBON MILK PUNCH went around the first tur in the four then three path, was rated on the outside, moved up to make a bid with five furlongs to run, vied in the four then three path on the far turn, dropped back in upper stretch and capitulated.
