Chart notes
GRACE AND GRIT veered out at the start and was corrected, chased four to five paths off the inside early on until tucked briefly three wide near the half mile pole, went four wide through the turn coming under urging three furlongs out and making headway through the latter portion of the turn, tipped four to five wide into upper stretch, rallied to collar the leader seventy yards from the finish and prevailed comfortably to the wire geared down in the last jumps. LIGHTNING STRIKE away near the rear of the field without incident, advanced quickly to the front to take command six furlongs from home, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside patiently handled, took the inside route into upper stretch and was roused straightened away, dug in under a drive clear to the eighth pole but under growing threat to the outside, got caught seventy yards from the finish and was along safe for the place honors. QUEENS CAT got bumped at the start by ANGEL GIFT, who broke outwards, led briefly after the break before being displaced by the aforementioned foe, raced four paths off the inside in aim of the front down the backstretch until put to urging and darted to the inside just outside the half mile pole, rode the rail through the turn and spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on to secure the show honors. GRACEFUL ROSE chased along the inside and then just off the inside under encouragement from three furlongs out, angled out seven to eight wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. BASEBALL LADY chased five wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths marker, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. PRINCESS WADADLI stumbled at the break recovering outwards into ANGEL GIFT, prompted the pace three then two wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths marker, spun three wide for home and tired. ANGEL GIFT broke out at the start bumping QUEENS CAT, then got bumped by PRINCESS WADADLI, who recovered outwards from a stumble, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn ridden along from the five-sixteenths pole, tipped four wide at the head of the stretch and tired. BRITAIN chased six then five wide under urging with five-sixteenths remaining, went four to five wide at the head of the lane, tired.
