MOZAMBIQUE broke out a step at the start trading a bump with GUILTY, chased three to four paths off the rail down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn coming under urging near the quarter pole, went eight wide into upper stretch, rallied in concert with the aforementioned foe and was along for the show honors on the line. DILIELLO chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked inside through the turn and was ridden along with five-sixteenths to go, swung four then three wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid and passed tired rivals. LAWYER MASON brushed the near side stall at the start, chased seven paths off the inside from the tail of the field, tucked inside into the turn and then tipped out to the two path to pass a rival midway on that bend, went six then five wide into upper stretch and offered up a bid to pass tired foes late. CRISTOBAL chased along the inside, got set down angled four wide into upper stretch, made no impact. VAN VOLLENHOVEN chased four then three wide coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, weakened. DIAMOND CHILD hustled from the gate, cut the pace along the inside under pressure from KING PUCK to the outside, took to the two path through the turn and then took the inside route into upper stretch, yielded the front straightened away and tired.
