PHILEAS FOGG coaxed from the gate, established the front after the start and showed the way in hand just off the inside settling into a comfortable rhythm through sensible splits, remained on hold until given a notch to work with three furlongs out, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go and spun two to three wide into upper stretch, forged clear under a drive to score. HIT SHOW raced along the inside through the first turn and then two to three paths off the inside down the backstretch, was moving into a tight seam when bumping with ANTIQUARIAN just outside the half mile pole, briefly tucked inside before heading back to the two path near the three-eighths marker under urging, swung three wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while keeping on to secure the place honors safely in front of the rest. TIZTASTIC chased just off the inside and then along the inside from near the rear of the field, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, angled out six to seven wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish to procure the show honors. ANTIQUARIAN stumbled at the start, chased three wide under urging from three furlongs out, tipped four wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals. FORGED STEEL buckled at the break and then traded a brush with CLASSICIST, grew briefly rank when under restraint when PHILEAS FOGG took command and tucked half way in front eight and a half furlongs from home, settled chasing just off the inside and then along the inside from just off the pace coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, swung three to four wide into upper stretch and tired. YO DADDY hustled from the start, chased three wide in closest aim of the leader under urging with seven-sixteenths remaining, angled five wide into upper stretch and tired. PARCHMENT PARTY coaxed from the gate, raced just off the inside through the first turn and then three to four wide thereafter coming under a ride with seven-sixteenths to run, went eight wide into upper stretch and made no impact. STARS AND STRIPES three wide through the first turn, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch before continuing five wide through the far turn urged along from the seven-sixteenths marker, tipped six wide at the top of the stretch and tired. ORIGINAL SIN coaxed from the start, raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased three to four wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths pole, went seven wide at the head of the lane and tired. OBSTACLE (BRZ) four then three wide through the first turn, chased five to six paths off the rail down the backstretch, retreated into and through the far turn tucking to the inside three furlongs out, went just off the inside into upper stretch and was eased home to the wire. CLASSICIST brushed the off side stall at the start and then traded a brush with FORGED STEEL, raced just off the inside through the first turn before chasing four wide thereafter, went five to six wide into upper stretch backing away and was eased home to the finish.
